This year I'll be serving on the jury for the International Festival for Independet Games, otherwise know as Indiecade.
Indiecade is an organization “dedicated to bringing together the freshest, most innovative and creative minds and works in independent game design.”
If past years are any indication of quality, I'm really looking forward to playing the entries. Follow the festival on their website at www.indiecade.com.
This past weekend I attended the 2010 Bay Area Game Jam at the Microsoft Silicon Valley Campus, a competition where teams try to make a game in only 24 hours.
For the second year in a row my team took home the $3,000 Grand Prize. We actually submitted two entries, and they tied each other for 1st place!
